As the Housing Options Service Manager you will also be responsible for identifying and bidding for external funding to support initiatives which support homeless applicants and the vulnerably housed and supporting the work of the local Housing First network.   You will ensure that all customers receive a high-quality service which works with them to resolve and improve their housing circumstances.  You will be responsible for the timely and effective allocation of vacancies of affordable housing across the Council’s own housing stock of over 5700 homes and that of partner Registered Providers.

If you have excellent communication skills, can develop and maintain effective relationships with statutory and voluntary organisations, are customer focused, an effective manager and passionate about making a difference to people’s lives, this opportunity is for you. In return we will offer you a varied and challenging role in a dynamic and ambitious Council where you can make a significant difference.
