THE ROLE

Greenacre Recruitment is currently seeking to recruit an Interim Development Manager for a Housing Provider based in Derbyshire. The post will be heavily involved with all stages of the Development programme.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 * Project manage development schemes at various stages from inception through to planning, tender and completion

* Identify, negotiate, secure and act as client for potential S106 opportunities that may arise, including land acquisitions and off the shelf purchases.

* Prepare and manage business plans for each project, to include financial appraisals and targets, programme, milestones and risk assessments.

* Liaise with local authorities and the Homes England to secure grant funding for schemes as appropriate. Manage the timely draw down of the grant.

* Carry out consultation exercise with residents and other stakeholders to achieve scheme buy-in.

REQUIREMENTS

* Valid Driving License and access to a car.

* Experience of identifying, negotiating and securing new business opportunities.

* Experience of securing funding for development projects.

* Experience of delivering successful high quality housing on time and on budget.
