At Hightown, we`re passionate about building homes and supporting people. It`s an exciting time to join us as we are developing 1,000 more homes over the next two years and are looking for a fantastic Head of Home Ownership and Commercial with the right experience, knowledge, values, and attitude to join our team, based at our Head Office in Hemel Hempstead.

 

About the role

 

You will take ownership of the end to end service provision for homeowners, sub-market renters and commercial leaseholders, including putting in place ways to enhance service provision to these client groups. Your will oversee all aspects of the Home Ownership Team`s property management service, including income collection, staircasing and leaseholder consents.

 

You will be expected to play a key part in driving the success of the department and improving resident satisfaction, working collaboratively across the whole organisation. This role is demanding and crucial to providing a professional, customer focused service.

 

Do you have professional property management expertise with a strong sense of customer focus?

 

As the Head of Home Ownership and Commercial, you`ll be our expert on legislation and best practice in all issues relating to the management of Hightown`s growing portfolio of Leasehold, Shared Ownership, Intermediate Rent and Commercial properties and will deliver a professional property management service with a strong customer focus.

 

Driven and commercially astute, you`ll be able to demonstrate:

 

  • Experience in managing and developing staff while being a good motivator who can inspire performance in others

  • Leadership ability

  • Excellent communication

  • Problem solving and relationship building skills.

You should be able to demonstrate use of initiative and collaborative working in a multi-stakeholder context.
