The Energy Provision Service team has a position for a Heat Network Project Manager and we would like you to join us on our exciting journey as we work towards delivering NHG's capital investment programme to improve the efficiency performance of our heat networks.

This role will be a great chance for you to make a direct impact on our service delivery during a transformative time for the wider business. Your main focus will be to:

  • Deliver projects to improve the efficiency and performance of our heat networks within the agreed deadlines and budgets.
  • Support the wider Energy Provision Service and Development team on heat network related tasks and improvements.

In this role, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the EPS and your key stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include; delivering day to day operational project management of heat network projects, coordinating internal resources and third parties for completion of heat network projects and successfully managing the heat networks capital works budget.

Other duties required will be; measuring performance of the improvement projects against appropriate KPI's, ensuring on-going operational and financial monitoring and reporting of existing heat network portfolio and assisting the NHG development team in commissioning independent, certified heat network with support of third party consultants.

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of relevant industry areas such as smart metering and heat networks as well as project management experience in delivering programmes of work to customers and in managing a project team.

Ideally you'll be someone from a building services background or someone with similar experience, like surveying, or have an understanding of building fabric.

We are looking for someone who is innovative and competent and not afraid to input their own ideas to contribute towards the improvement of the project and service. We want a driven and motivated individual, and someone who has a genuine interest in this area of work.

We are a small, friendly and hardworking team - and we look forward to welcoming you onboard in delivering a fantastic service to NHG!

This role is on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis until 30th June 2020.

Should a redeployee apply for this role; their application will be considered before any others.

In return we offer you 25 days annual leave (Pro rata) plus bank holidays, health cash plan, season ticket loan, tenancy deposit loan, cycle 2 work scheme, childcare vouchers, life assurance and a generous contributory pension offer.

You will need to supply your CV and a supporting statement (detailing your suitability for the role as outlined in the role profile).
