Following the launch of our new Strategic Plan – ‘Improving Lives to 2040’ and a fundamental review of our governance arrangements, Incommunities are now seeking an enthusiastic and committed Governance Officer to help deliver our objectives.

Working with colleagues from across the organisation, you will be part of a small busy team, providing a first class governance service to our members and strategic support services to our executive management and senior leadership team.

We are looking for a flexible, highly organised, efficient and tenacious individual who will be responsible for providing an excellent administration and support service to the Group’s Boards and Committees. This will include the collation and dispatch of agendas and papers, minute taking during meetings and maintaining decision trackers. You will need recent experience of working in a very busy environment and be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills. In addition you will be aware of the need for confidentiality as you will come into contact with high levels of personal and commercially sensitive business information. Social housing experience would be a bonus but is not essential.

We offer flexible office hours working but equally need someone who is prepared to stay late on occasions to meet business needs and/or attend evening meetings.
