We are currently looking for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to strengthen our team. The main purpose of this role is to work with the Financial Planning Manager to develop the medium and long term business plan, ensuring that there are robust financial plans in place to deliver the corporate strategy.

What you will be doing:

• Assisting with the development of the Business Plan, Long Term Aspirational Plan and 5 Year Corporate Plan
• Providing informative analysis, reports and presentations for ELT / committees / board as required
• Planning against key risks facing the organisation
• Ensuring that the financial implications of any developments in the social housing sector and wider external environment are fully assessed for potential risks, threats and opportunities
• Financially appraising new development and capital investments projects / asset decisions
• Undertaking investment option appraisals relating to the overall performance of proposed developments

We’d love to meet someone with: 

• A relevant finance qualification
• Experience of appraising large capital investment, business development or corporate restructuring projects in the private or housing sector
• A high degree of technical competence in accounting and finance including an understanding of NPV and IRR(E)
• Experience of producing financial analysis and reports to inform strategic business decisions
• Knowledge of financial planning software or financial modelling in Excel
