Business Applications Manager (Technology)

 

Worcester

 

£65,892 per annum inclusive of policy allowance (rising to £69,360 per annum inclusive of policy allowance after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)

 

35 hours per week

 

 

The Business Application Manager (Technology) role, which internally we call a  Business Application Team Leader, will manage a team of 10 Application Specialists who are responsible for the implementation, configuration, management, improvement and support of Sanctuary Housing Association application estate.

 

If you are an effective facilitator who has an open and honest communication style and who is appreciative of the same from the team then this could be the role for you.

 

The role of Business Applications Manager (Technology) will include:

  • Managing the design, enhancement and development of Business Applications
  • Delivering an effective and efficient service for users
  • Meeting the current and future needs of the organisation
  • Contributing to the research of new technologies and their suitability for the Group
  • Implementing best practice solutions, providing support and advice to Technology teams
  • Managing the improvement and integration of services based on appropriate technologies and architectural patterns

 

Skills and experiences:

  • Practical experience of applying new technologies in organisations, including customisations, developments, testing and documentation
  • Effective people management skills and ability to solve problems
  • Technically proficient, confident, organised, willing to delegate and influential within the work place
  • Knowledge of the ITIL (Infrastructure Technology Infrastructure Library) framework
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum or Dev Ops
  • Demonstrable experience of supplier management within the housing and care sector
  • Experience in using specialist systems including Microsoft Office

  • Role Salary is £55,614 with an additional policy allowance of £10,277 per annum (rising to £58,541 with an additional policy allowance of £10,818 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
