We're currently looking for an Operations Manager (Heating) to ensure that all assets managed by Clarion are serviced, inspected and repaired according to legislative requirements whilst incorporating best practice.
You'll manage a team of Contract Surveyors responsible for the implementation of robust contract and programme management practices for specific asset streams in the London and South regions.
Some of your responsibilities will include providing management focus/oversight for the day to day activities of the Contract Surveyors so as to ensure that all legal and contractual standards are met. You'll also ensure that all contracts are utilising appropriate indicators to measure and monitor performance in terms of compliance, cost, quality of service and customer satisfaction.
Other key responsibilities include:-
- Ensuring all remedial / repair actions are completed and that records are suitably updated to evidence this.
- Acting as lead contact for M&E issues for your contract area, providing specialist advice and guidance as required.
- As directed by the Senior Operations Manager, assisting in procurement activities to ensure appropriate contract arrangements are maintained and that value for money principles can be evidenced.
Drawing on your previous experience of managing multiple M&E, Heating and Alternative Heating Technology contracts within a social housing context, you'll have a good understanding of the statutory regulations that impact on and govern industry standards across M&E assets and what is required in order to demonstrate compliance. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and preferably hold a qualification / membership of a professional body appropriate to the role.
If this sounds like an opportunity you'd be interested in, we look forward to receiving your application.
