We are currently seeking a Project Officer to join our Compliance team. The main purpose of this role is to assist with the delivery of our major works and cyclical programmes, providing support to the Compliance Project Managers.

What you will be doing: 

  • Ensuring that major projects and work programmes are well planned and performance targets are known before the start to enable the measurement of contractor performance

  • Ensuring that all projects are undertaken in accordance with cost, time, quality expectations and seek to ensure performance that consistently meets requirements

  • Assisting with planning, coordinating and managing all works in line with contractual obligations

  • Attending and assisting with contractor progress meetings, recording where necessary

  • Assisting in the review of and responding to contractors applications for payment

  • Ensuring that all data for completed works is recorded and available for upload to the asset management system

We’d love to meet someone with:  

  • M&E compliance experience or experience of compliance with building and construction

  • Knowledge of social housing

  • Strong project management skills 

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively

  • Confidence in using IT

  • Knowledge of health and safety issues affecting residential properties (ie - fire, gas, electrical, legionella, asbestos, lifts)

  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
