Your new role
We’re passionate about building high-quality, sustainable and affordable homes to tackle the housing crisis and creating an environment within our communities that allows our customers to thrive. To ensure we deliver on our ambitious plan of delivering 250 units per year over the next five years, we’re looking for a Senior Buyer to play a key role within our Construction Management team.
You will form successful, long-term supplier relationships, securing high quality products and materials whilst delivering on value for money. A key part of this role will be negotiating with suppliers to agree competitive arrangements that are delivered on-time and remain cost effective.
An eye for detail will be essential as you will review performance management data, addressing any concerns, introducing new suppliers when necessary to ensure continuous improvement across the supply chain.
A strong background in the construction sector and knowledge of market trends will be essential as will the ability to build long-lasting, successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
