Why work with us?

It’s an exciting time to join our organisation. In November 2019, Radian Group and Yarlington Housing Group announced a new partnership which now sees us serve 79,000 customers across the south from Devon to Windsor.

Our new organisation has a portfolio of over 38,000 homes, supported by over 1,350 colleagues. Together, we’re committed to investing in local communities to make them stronger whilst helping to provide homes to those that really need them. We recognise the importance of continuing to develop our products and services to meet the changing needs of our customers and empower our colleagues to support customers in realising their aspirations.

We’re looking to recruit people who share our passion in making a difference to the lives of our customers and our local communities. In return we will invest in you to help develop your career in a great environment that offers flexibility, collaboration and excellent rewards and benefits.

We live by a set of shared values that underpin our open and honest working culture but also demonstrates our commitment to our customers, our stakeholders and our colleagues.

So if we’re what you’re looking for, start your next chapter with us…

Your new role

We are currently seeking a Development Quality Manager to assist in delivering our Strategy Target of 10,000 homes over a 10-year period to the highest quality, supporting the New Business, Sales, Programme Delivery and Construction teams.

With your background in the successful delivering of construction projects in line with legislation and best practice, you will report to the Head of Technical Delivery, carrying out regular site inspections and managing the defects liability period to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of product is achieved.

We are looking for someone who is committed with a natural drive who can demonstrate our values and behaviours. The successful candidate will have extensive relevant experience in construction and demonstrable experience of resolving technical issues.

You will be able to quickly build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and be able to manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will be based at our Yeovil office, and you will work in an agile manner covering all locations.

A full driving licence and access to own transport are essential for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pro-active and passionate individual looking to contribute to an enthusiastic and hardworking team, to help deliver a substantial programme of new homes.

If you feel you have the experience, skills and attitude, we want to hear from you.

What we offer

•    28 days annual leave per annum and pro rata, plus bank holidays, with the opportunity to buy and sell additional leave
•    Flexible working arrangements
•    In-house development and talent management initiatives, including study support

Company

About us

Everything we do is fuelled by three core beliefs: that everyone has the right to a safe, warm and sustainable home, the importance of communities to help people thrive, and in empowering people and communities so everyone has an opportunity to improve their life chances.

We proudly serve around 80,000 customers across the South of England from Devon to Windsor managing a portfolio of more than 38,000 homes, supported by more than 1,600 amazing colleagues - and we’re not done yet.

We’ve got big ambitions and to achieve these, we need colleagues who are as committed and innovative as we are.

About you

Our colleagues embrace our Values & Behaviours; be the difference to our customers and colleagues, always curious and look for better solutions, achieve together by working in partnership with others, own it openly through working with others in an open and honest way, and finally embrace possibility and see changes and challenges as welcome opportunities.
