X3 - Permanent - Full Time - 37 Hours per week.

X5 - Temporary (6 Months) - Full Time - 37 Hours per week.

Our head office is The Quays, based just next to the canal in Shipley. A 5 minute walk from Shipley train station and a 10 minute stroll from the World Heritage site of Saltaire.  Our state of the art office includes a subsidised café and free parking alongside many options available in the local town centre.

We are looking to recruit 8 Neighbourhood Housing Officers to provide housing management of a designated patch and the co-ordination of a full range of housing services to the customers of that patch.

You will be required to provide a customer focused housing management service and will need practical work experience of customer services dealing with members of the public both face to face and over the phone. 

You should have excellent interpersonal and communications skills in order to work collaboratively with other teams and service providers and be able to facilitate delivery and actively contribute as a team member to the improvement of the management area.  Being able to work positively and enthusiastically in sometimes challenging circumstances and have an interest in Housing Law relating to the management of Social Housing.  Applicants should also have experience of resolving conflict, problem solving and an ability to demonstrate evidence of delivering customer service as well as improvements in an area of work. 

You should also have good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team, and you must be able to use a wide range of IT packages to manage tenancy details and case work and be willing to deal with different types of workloads and problems. Due to the nature of the role, a valid current driving licence and access to a car is essential.
