We have an amazing opportunity for a Sales Executive to join us and manage all sales activity for our shared ownership new homes developments throughout the North East. This is a fabulous opportunity to join our award winning team (did you know we’re winners of best house at the What House Awards 2018?) and make a big difference to the lives of our customers moving into their new home. You’ll be with our customers every step of the way, helping their new home become a reality.
You’ll be managing all sales activity from legal set up through to sales completion. This will include managing all leads for your schemes including carrying out viewings, securing reservations, progressing sales through to completion. You’ll also work collaboratively with our solicitors to ensure they have all legal documentation to produce legal packs and progress sales. Using your fabulous customer service skills, you’ll provide a first-class service that delights our customers and internal colleagues.
You’ll be reporting to Alison, our Sales Manager, working alongside our regional sales team who work together to hit our sales targets and delight our customers. Alison worked here for five years and has loads of experience to support you and the team, and there’s always plenty of biscuits and chocolate on the go in her weekly sales meetings discussing sales targets as well as putting the world to right! Outside of work you’ll find her spending time with her family or out socialising with the team (they do love a good get together).

A bit about you
With a passion for new home sales and achieving sales targets, you’ll have a background in new homes or estate agency or commercial property sales environment, including knowledge of affordable tenure products and outright sale. You’ll understand the financial requirements to buy, including mortgage processes and financial assessments. You’ll be self-motivated, an energised team member with excellent organisational skills. If you’re brilliant at building relationships with your customers which lead to a deal ‘close’, then this is the cherry in the cake (or should we say the sold sign on the door!).
We’ll need you to travel around the region to our different sites so ideally you’ll have a driving licence and access to a vehicle and we'll pay your business mileage for travel. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, which may include weekends and early evening.
