A vacancy has arisen within the Property Services (Housing) team to be responsible for leading domestic M & E contracts such as door entry, emergency lighting and lift maintenance in line with the Business Plan objectives. You will lead on the service delivery and management of contractors associated with this service.

You will set targets for high standards of contractors’ performance and you will be required to represent the Council with external contractors, agencies and Members.  We are a customer focused organisation and you must also maintain a commitment to their needs at all times.

You will have a good level of technical and management experience from working in a similar environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strategic approach to work and the skills to introduce new ideas and working practices

The development and maintenance of strong partnering relationships whilst supporting and driving organisational and cultural change to deliver the Council’s mission and values is crucial as is an ability to see the wider picture and work collaborative across teams.
