We're currently looking for a dedicated Employment & Training Development Manager to join our team at Clarion Futures.

We'll look to you to develop, promote and implement national and regional Employment and Training programmes that maximise the number of Clarion residents supported into work and training. Reporting to the Head of Jobs and Training and working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Business Development, you'll be responsible for identifying and bidding for complex external funding including national and regional Government funding, Lottery and other regional funds. You'll subsequently develop and lead on delivery of external funded programmes and contracts that support unemployed residents into sustained employment and to increase the programme's reach and impact.

Other key responsibilities will include: -

  • Providing effective and visible management to the London (South) regional Employment &Training team, developing a high performing and motivated team
  • Developing and supporting national and regional Housing Association's and sector based consortia ensuring high quality service standards are met and the programmes have sector leading impact
  • Taking responsibility for all aspects of budget management related to national and regional expenditure as appropriate, ensuring spend remains on profile.

The ideal candidate will come to us with extensive experience and expertise in the Employment & Training sector gained from working in a similar role and will have proven experience of delivering high quality operational services on a large geographic basis. Educated to degree level or with equivalent, you'll need excellent organisational and project management skills to ensure high quality programmes. We're looking for someone with previous experience of working with the long term unemployed and a passion and drive to successfully deliver strategy and new initiatives and offers.
