BexleyCo is looking to appoint two experienced Development Managers to use their expertise and knowledge to deliver high-quality housing development projects.
It is an exciting opportunity at an interesting time to be joining a growing development company in a senior position reporting to the Managing Director. BexleyCo is wholly owned by the London Borough of Bexley and was set up in 2018 to build 2500 new homes over 10 years. So far, we are in the process of bringing forward the first phase of seven sites delivering 700 homes. The Council is initially investing up to £120m in BexleyCo and has ambitious plans to see the borough transformed through its Growth Strategy, and we are regarded as a key enabler to help deliver great places for local residents to live.
You will lead on overseeing all development activities, including design, planning, tendering, construction services, sales and marketing. Working with the company’s design team and technical service providers and construction contractors you will ensure the successful delivery of housing development schemes.
