Covering the Yorkshire and North West region, you?ll be engaging with commissioners to identify their needs, using your excellent collaboration skills to design products and services that deliver brilliant outcomes for our customers.  We?re focusing on people with Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities and older people ? with a particular emphasis on Transforming Care supporting customers with complex support needs.  You?ll have the support of our fantastic clinical team as you develop new services, ensuring that we have the right practice and interventions to meet the complex needs of the people we provide services to.

We have ambitious growth plans and significant investment is being made to support the delivery of our strategy to ?build homes, independence and aspirations?. The team are well-established and we have a significant pipeline of new business that we are looking to replicate in our Yorkshire and North West and Yorkshire regions ? and this is where you?ll make your mark!

About you

As a Business Development Manager you?ll have the unique chance to mould and shape our future and success, but to do that, it?s critical that you?re a self-starter! You have worked in a similar role previously, owning business development activity and have a great understanding of commissioning processes, including tendering. You?ve also got substantial experience of managing or commissioning in a health or social care setting and ideally some of which has been developed within a local authority commissioning environment.

It goes without saying that you?ve got brilliant communication, writing and presentation skills, are a great collaborator, networker and are able to build great partnerships that benefit not just yourself, but the wider business.

When and where you?ll work

You?ll shape your own diary. However you?ll likely spend around 2 days or so per week on the road, and working from home the rest of the time.  You?ll get all the latest IT kit to support you.

Working flexibly - it's the output that counts!

It?s our unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your child?s school play, your partner?s graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off when you need it. Our focus is on delivering brilliant outcomes, not your working hours.

To apply

Don?t delay applying for this brilliant job, as we may close it early if we get lots of applications! Just upload your CV and if you have one, your covering letter (this will help us learn more about you!). If you need them, we?ve also got some great templates to help you.

You?re unique!

Home Group play a big part in tackling prejudice and discrimination, not just for our customers, but colleagues too! You can be yourself here, because we value everything that makes you unique. So whatever your age, race, sexuality, disability, religion, or gender identity, we recognise and celebrate our differences. Together we make Home Group a great place to work!
