Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council is now recruiting for a Head of Housing Delivery.

Leading the Housing Delivery service, you will ensure a step change in activity on the supply of new homes for the area to meet overall housing demands, and maximise the provision of much needed affordable housing.

You will drive forward a strategy and an ambitious programme to increase housing supply for BCP, developing national and local networks, and finding new ways of working to bring increased housing supply forwards.

We are looking for someone with considerable residential development experience including private sector delivery. You will have excellent knowledge of the residential development sector and national policy context and experience of leading high profile innovative projects with wide-ranging impacts.

Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole Council is a new and ambitious Council on the South coast and this post is a senior position making sure the area delivers the right scale, quality and location of homes that meet the area’s aspirations and needs.

The successful person will be instrumental in further progressing the pipeline of 1,000+ homes on Council owned land, developing private sector homes within our wholly owned company and importantly, establishing excellent local and national partnerships with planners, Homes England, developers and land agents to deliver the housing growth we need.
