We are looking for a brilliant Repairs and Maintenance Manager to join our newly shaped Maintenance team. You will drive 100% compliance whilst managing the performance of repairs, voids and out of hours in your allocated area. You will push continuous improvement and work collaboratively to identify improvements and solutions for responsive and out of hours services that drive performance, innovation and success.

About our team

You’ll be working alongside our fabulous team who are super passionate about delivering first class maintenance services to customers.

You will have the support of a fantastic management team, our Head of Design and Performance David, who loves the great outdoors and being out on his mountain bike. He also teaches and practices meditation!

You will report to our Maintenance and Contract Manager Matt, who has recently joined Home Group with 14 years’ experience of housing and maintenance services, who when not looking after his young family, can be found exercising in the gym or walking around the countryside to tire the little ones out!

You will join a team that doesn’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too!

When you’ll work

It’s the team’s unwritten rule that you attend the important appointments in life, be it your child’s school play, your partner’s graduation, or to get your new fridge delivered. You can elect to fit these around your working day or use your flexi to take the time off. Our focus is on getting the job done, not your working hours!

About you

You will have a RICS or CIOB accredited degree or can evidence strong equivalent skills from your working profession. You will have led teams to deliver housing maintenance, responsive repairs and voids services.

You keep projects and programmes of work on track, on time and on budget through brilliant collaboration and communication. You can confidently challenge, interpret contracts, data, statistics and insights to identify trends to drive performance.

Here at Home Group we have invested heavily in our future and use current and up to date equipment. You’ll be issued with the latest kit, which could include a Surface Pro and mobile. So it's really important to us that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)

Travel

You’ll initially be based from home and will move to one of our local regional offices (when we decide to move back to office working) you may need to occasionally travel across our work locations.
