We are looking for someone with a background in Housing and Property Management with excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to help others. You will have experience managing complaints of anti-social behaviour and be confident to work with external partner agencies to find solutions. You should also be confident to deal with range of estate and property issues including monitoring service contracts and responding to concerns regarding scheme health and safety. You will be organised and able to work independently to manage a varied and busy workload. Due to the current climate you will need to be a self-starter and confident using a range of IT systems and system processes.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have a full and valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
You will need to have strong people skills, be an excellent communicator and have the ability to build and sustain working relationships.
You must have prior knowledge and experience of working within a housing role. In particular knowledge of Housing Law, and knowledge of the local area.
Previous experience of working with Legal Housing documents.
An interest in the work of MTVH and social housing
To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an enhanced background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, which will include a check of the Adult Barred list, once an offer of employment is made. A new check will be completed every three years.
