We are looking for a Scheme Manager (1 post) to join our team on a job share basis. The working days for the job share will be on an alternate 2/3 day pattern each week (Week 1 - Working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Week 2 - Working Thursday and Friday) averaging out at 17.5 hours per week.
Reporting to the Older Persons Team Leader, you will provide intensive housing and building management services at Onward sheltered housing schemes enabling tenants to live confidently and independently in their own homes and ensuring Onward meet its health & safety compliance requirements. You will liaise with health and social care providers, voluntary agencies and others assisting tenants to maintain their accommodation.
You will provide each tenant with an agreed level of intensive housing management, responding to tenant and scheme emergencies. You will ensure that your sheltered housing scheme meets regulatory standards for all health and safety and compliance requirements, ensuring property log books are up to date and all requirements are met.
Working with our neighbourhood colleagues, you will ensure all voids, lettings and housing management issues are communicated to ensure collaborative working.
You should have experience of dealing with older people in a service environment and building management and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills is essential, with the ability to work on your own initiative as part of a dispersed team. You should have experience of working proactively to improve services and customer satisfaction. A satisfactory disclosure barring service (DBS) reference will be required.
All posts are recruited to the recruitment salary and movement to the confirmed salary is based on successful completion of a 6 month probation. The salary shown is the full time equivalent and will be prorated to the part time working hours.
The base location for this role is Florence Court, 4 Buchanan Road, Walton, Liverpool, L9 1EW. However please note that due to Covid-19, we have adapted our working arrangements under government guidelines and Safe Systems of Work.
