Contract Type: Permanent

By 2040, Clarion will be the undisputed leading housing group for good quality, fit for purpose, well managed, sustainable and affordable homes and we are looking for an Appraisal Officer to help us deliver this strategy. This is a full time, permanent role based in our Corsica Street Office in London.

In collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, the role will be responsible for reviewing and validating information on the condition and performance of Clarion assets. Working closely with other members of the appraisal team, we'll look to you to contribute to appraising asset options and to make recommendations for decision making and then handover to other internal delivery team.

Other responsibilities include:-

  • Analysing and interpreting data to determine the long term sustainability of the portfolio, taking into account all relevant market factors, ensuring demonstrable links between the Clarion 2040 standard

  • Consulting and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their views and perspectives are taken into account in options appraisals.

  • Work with external consultants to obtain advice such as valuation, surveys and legal.

  • Producing high quality succinct reports and recommendations for Board approval

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the undertaking of sustainability analysis, option appraisals and the development of portfolio reviews. Drawing on your previous experience of managing consultation and engagement with stakeholders, you'll have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and customers. A sound understanding of the development and delivery of investment plans within the housing sector and the regulatory and statutory requirements is also essential for the role.
