Salary: £47,000 to £48,000 plus £3,660 car allowance

Location: Flexible

Tenure: Full Time, Permanent

Role Purpose

  • Manage the operational delivery of the organisation’s customer facing responsive repairs, voids, building services, estate services and servicing contracts to a defined geographical area within either the North or South regions.
  • Manage and foster long term relationships with key partners.
  • To lead and manage a team of Maintenance Surveyors.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contribute to the building and management of sustainable and meaningful partnerships so that our contractors are resilient, and profitable whilst delivering good quality services in the way our customers expect.
  • Contribute to, and assist, in embedding processes that remove waste, drive costs down, increase social value initiatives and deliver real digital innovation.
  • Assist in the design of Customer involvement strategies to ensure that residents have a voice in shaping and improving service outcomes.
  • Assist in supporting, managing, and sustaining national customer involvement groups and key partner national networking groups to share experience, best practice, innovation etc.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience required

  • Proven experience of leading a multi-disciplined team across a defined geographical area.
  • Proven experience of managing technical colleagues and maintenance, estate service and servicing contractors.
  • Excellent knowledge of building components and the diagnosis of building defects.
  • Knowledge of building law, regulation, building contracts, contract law and health and safety legislation and best practise.
  • Educated to HND level or equivalent, professional qualification in construction, housing, management, or property
