Delivering support with a difference. That’s when it hits home.

At Home Group it’s critical we continue to deliver services for our customers during the COVID-19 outbreak, and our awesome colleagues are at the very heart of making that happen. We need Brilliant People like you to join us (and not just during this challenging time). We are doing things a little differently for the moment, so to keep you, our customers and ourselves safe we’ll engage with you digitally where possible.

We have fabulous opportunity for you to join our brand-new extra care Community Wellbeing scheme, Amblers Orchard in the beautiful village of Tingley.  Opening in June 2021, we’ll be supporting older people aged 55+ with varying care and support needs to live independently in their own home with peace of mind.  We’ll be offering high quality living in our 63 beautifully designed apartments with a variety of on-site facilities including assistive technology, 24/7 on site wellbeing and care provision, restaurant, café, hair/beauty salon, cosy communal lounges with family area, activity room and picturesque landscaped gardens.  It will be a real hub within the local community.  Brilliant isn’t it!

Based from our fantastic new building on Westerton Walk, we are just minutes from the M62 and M1 and very close to good public transport links, with bus stops just around the corner on Westerton Road with routes for Wakefield, Leeds and Bradford. Really handy!

A great leader you’ll have a genuine passion to lead our new service, delivering brilliant person-centred housing related support.  You’ll be leading a new team of housing colleagues with responsibility for the running, maintenance and housing management of the scheme including facilities, repairs, provision of a range of housing services, activities and events as well as community engagement. You’ll work alongside our Registered Manager (we’re recruiting to this role too) and onsite care team to deliver efficient, high quality, cost effective and customer centred services in line with CQC regulatory standards. Together you’ll be ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our customers that supports their health, wellbeing and enables them to live independently.

You’ll also monitor service performance against contractual targets and ensure that the service is visible and accessible to referring agencies, self-referring customers and the local community too.

Start date in this role is expected to be beginning of February 2021.
