Salary: Norwich - £57,375 - £67,500 per annum / London - £63,750 - £75,000 per annum

Job Location: Norwich or London Bridge

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Development Finance Manager to join our team in London or Norwich. In a nutshell, you will play a key part in delivering monthly, half year and statutory notes which Investment and Monitoring are responsible for.

Some of the key duties include:

  • Line manager a team of four people

  • Work with external auditors, providing information as requested to ensure timely completion of audit.

  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all relevant legislation, GAAP and SORP (excluding financial instruments) ensuring that the Group meets all of its statutory and regulatory obligations with special emphasis on Property, Plant and Equipment

  • Overseeing the posting of all relevant journals within the prescribed month-end deadlines.

  • Oversee the production of required balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist the internal and external auditors in the fulfilment of their work.

  • Assist the development of financial systems including ERP.

You will be professionally fully qualified accountant with membership of a CCAB body, or QBE with significant experience of Development project accounting, with experience of producing Group accounts against tight deadlines. You'll have strong technical accounting knowledge and skills and a proven track record in the use of integrated computerised accounting systems. Naturally, you'll be self-motivated with an analytical mind, combined with great interpersonal skills and the confidence to build strong and lasting internal and relationships.
