Who we are looking for

We`re looking for someone who:

  • Is an expert in governance and compliance requirements of a Housing Association or similar organisation including the Governance Framework of the Regulator of Social Housing
  • Is self-driven, results orientated with a positive outlook and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Has a strong attention to detail and is able to understand, analyse and summarise complex legal information
  • Is a skilled communicator both verbally and in writing to be able to influence and engage with a wide range of stakeholders

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has excellent organisational and time management skills who can make a real difference by ensuring Hightown continues to operate in a compliant manner.

About the role

You will be the Company Secretary for Hightown and facilitate good governance to ensure that Hightown operates with its rules, relevant statutory legislation, regulatory requirements and codes of practice.

Youll ensure robust business assurance processes are in place and provide executive support to Board members, the Chief Executive and Directors. You will also manage Risk and Business Assurance processes including the internal audit programme and directly line manage the Risk and Compliance Advisor and Assistant Company Secretary.
