Canterbury City Council, a district council situated in the heart of the Garden of England, is excited to bring its housing service back in house.
We are looking for a Housing Officer to join our diverse team.
We want an experienced housing professional who is well-versed in current best practice, who can find innovative answers to a range of issues and have a strong track record of delivery.
We are an ambitious and progressive council determined to be ranked among the best social housing providers in the country.
There is no doubt this is a challenging time so we need staff who are prepared to roll up their sleeves, put their shoulder to the wheel and help to create an effective and efficient team that really benefits our tenants.
In return, Canterbury City Council is a great place to work.
Our conditions include Local Government Pension Scheme membership plus benefits and flexible working hours.
Our staff benefits package includes flexible annual leave and working arrangements, reduced cost leisure membership and excellent training and development opportunities.
The deadline for applications is 30 November 2020 09:00.
For an informal discussion about this role, please contact Tracey Fossey, Housing Service Manager (Lettings and Tenancy Management), tracey.fossey@canterbury.gov.uk
Interviews will take place W/C 9 December 2020
