About the role

We’re looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our Property Services Team. The successful candidate will work closely with Regional Maintenance Surveyors to help address a backlog of routine repairs, provide holiday/sickness cover, undertake stock condition surveys and ensure databases are kept up to date. They will also be responsible for overseeing responsive repairs, undertaking pre and post inspections and liasing with contractors.

About you
You’ll need to be a self-motivated individual with the initiative to organise your workload and be committed to delivering an excellent customer service for our customers. You will need to have good working knowledge of building construction, building regulations and Health & Safety legislation. You’ll also need:

• Experience of supervising contractors on site
• Experience of delivering high standards of customer service to both internal and external customers
• Experience in using housing management systems (Hastoe use MIS)
• Experience in undertaking stock condition surveys Be aware of regulations concerning fire prevention, legionella and asbestos
• Be aware of regulations concerning fire preventions, legionella and asbestos
• To hold a valid driving licence and have use of your own vehicle.
