About the role

We are looking for someone to join us as Head of Housing, providing leadership and operational direction in the management, delivery and performance of General Needs and Specialist Supported Housing services of Rooftop Housing. 

As a member of the Leadership Team you are responsible for the achievement of the organisation’s objectives and ensuring that activities are carried out to the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.  

Ensuring supported housing services are provided in line with commissioned arrangements and regulatory requirements as appropriate for care and support, you will proactively support the organisation to retain and maintain G1 status and be aware of and comply with the relevant regulatory standards.

About you

Candidates will have substantial senior management experience with the housing sector and an established track record of delivering results and continuous improvement in service delivery.

With a relevant management / housing qualification and experience of effectively leading, managing and motivating teams, you will have substantial knowledge of the housing sector, including legal and regulatory requirements.

Customer focused and able to apply people management policies and procedures, you will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines and outstanding communication, numeracy and literacy skills.

A Full and current driving licence and use of own vehicle insured for business use is essential.
