About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Resourcing Officer to join our team in Exeter on a full time, permanent basis. You will be part of a wider Resourcing/HR Team made up of 3 HR Advisors and 4 Resourcing Officers and will focus on driving recruitment for our Care at Home Services across the South East and South West of England, using your local knowledge and experience of recruiting for similar type roles to attract and retain great quality Care Workers.

As a Resourcing Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering a cost effective, customer focused recruitment service, utilising leading recruitment practices and our in-house technology to meet the requirements of the business and ensure Guinness Care is attracting and retaining the best possible talent.
  • Providing a professional resourcing and recruitment advisory service; managing efficient and effective campaigns that achieve business expectations and meet agreed KPIs.
  • Designing and delivering training/coaching to managers, ensuring the correct application of recruitment policy and procedures.          
  • Attracting a diverse range of applicants to Guinness Care by utilising candidate attraction methods that are accessible to all.  
  • Managing individual recruitment campaigns ensuring legal/GDPR compliance and the full utilisation of the applicant tracking system and general job boards.
  • Following up with managers post campaign to identify opportunities for service improvement.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience of managing recruitment campaigns as an in-house recruiter or at a commercial recruitment agency.
  • Experience of using recruitment systems.
  • Proven experience of managing a high volume of vacancies.
  • Proven experience of designing effective recruitment campaigns.
  • Up to date knowledge of all requirements that relate to recruitment activity.
  • Proven experience of working within a customer service environment.
  • A flexible approach with an ability to handle a range of projects and work to tight deadlines.
