We are currently looking for an experienced accounting professional to join us as a Financial Planning Analyst on a fixed term contract for 12 months.  The role will be based from Bedford but will initially be worked from home due to the pandemic. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Preparing the Corporate Business Plan and ensuring it is accurate and up to date.

  • Supporting the delivery of relevant and timely financial planning and analysis information to key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Providing papers for board, quarterly forecasts, returns for our Regulators and ad hoc project work.

  • Working with managers across the business to provide analysis and advice, identifying risks and seeking solutions to support service delivery and strategic decision making.

We’d love to meet someone with:  

  • A full or part Accountancy qualification e.g. ACCA, ACA/FCA, ACMA/CGMA.

  • Experience as an Accountant, Corporate Treasurer or Financial Analyst.

  • Extensive experience in producing complex financial analysis and reports.

  • The ability to build and sustain effective professional working relationships within Finance and the wider business environment.

  • A high degree of IT literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and of using a relevant financial system..

  • The ability to think analytically and critically to review and apply logical problem-solving skills.
