We are an ALMO responsible for delivering housing management, maintenance and community services to more than 4,200 tenancies and leaseholders on behalf of Sedgemoor District Council.

We commenced operations on April 1, 2007 and agreed a new 30-year Management Agreement with the council from April 1, 2014.  This sets out the condition, obligations, and service requirements with which we are required to comply.

We are looking for a new Director of Asset Management and Safety who shares our passion and strategic focus to place Homes in Sedgemoor at the forefront of excellent housing management and maintenance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful organisation in the first year of an ambitious three-year strategy. In this role you will have the freedom and autonomy to really shape services around customers whilst making homes even safer. You will be central to our continual adoption of the principles enshrined in the new Housing White Paper.

You will have experience in leading a major asset function at a senior level, ideally in a social housing context, along with comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation. We want an inspirational leader who can provide direction to all colleagues within the directorate including line management of the Responsive Repairs and Voids Manager, Planned Investment Manager, and Compliance, Safety and Strategy Manager.
