The Finance Team is developing its commercial activities and has an exciting opportunity in a new post to support this activity.   The primary focus of the role will be supporting the Council's Housing and Development Company, Cornovii Developments Limited.  You will support this young company with a range of financial requirements including the financial appraisal and accounting processes as well as treasury strategy and cashflow forecasting requirements and business planning.  You will also contribute towards expanding the Authority’s external customer portfolio.

You will be a positive, enthusiastic self-starter with a keen eye for process development and improvement and hold good financial management in high regard.  You will have proven technical abilities and ideally have experience of working within the housing sector.   You will also be skilled at providing clear and constructive financial advice. You will inspire confidence, have good communication skills and be adept at building strong working relationships.
