Job Details
We are looking for an exceptional Employer Opportunities Officer to join our team at Clarion Futures.
As a key member of our team you will be responsible for securing account managed employment opportunities for our residents. Working in partnership with local employers, you will develop local and regional partnerships to ensure that there is a constant flow of ring-fenced vacancies. You will need to utilise your expertise to develop demand led recruitment strategies in line with local labour market needs. Your focus will be on Business Development as a way to increase employer participation in developing "Sector Based Work Academy" programmes alongside partners such as the Job Centre. You will promote the Clarion Futures brand and increase awareness of the services to ensure that you are tied into economic development opportunities across the region.
Your duties will include:
- Developing a portfolio of employer managed accounts via regular Business Development activity.
- Work alongside Employment Support Officers in the region to develop bespoke recruitment programmes.
- Leading on marketing and promoting new employment opportunities to increase resident participation and help source candidates for your vacancies.
- Developing a network of support agencies and providers who will refer residents and support their positive progression into work
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be excited by the prospect of achieving targets in a highly performing team. You will need to have demonstrable experience of working in an employer engagement type role to meet the essential criteria.
