The Council has an ambitious Growth Programme to deliver new homes across the borough that meet the needs of residents now and for future generations. If you are a highly motivated individual with a background in housing development and regeneration, we are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager.

Working in the Council’s Development and Investment team, you will play a key role to accelerate the delivery of the new homes programme through the Council’s wholly owned company Sempra Homes providing homes over a range of tenure and through the HRA programme to provide homes for social rent.

If appointed, you will be responsible for line management of the Council’s Development and Investment team and supporting the Development and Investment Manager and Sempra Homes Manager to deliver the Council’s new homes programme. You will also lead on continuous improvement in respect of procedures, processes, standards and customer care. With a background in development, you will be responsible for complex projects for hand over to project managers at delivery stage; ensuring quality new homes are delivered at pace.

To be successful, you should have a high level of experience and understanding of the delivery of new homes programmes and development life cycle and requirements for the delivery of grant funded schemes.
