About the role

• You will manage the charity’s support services provided to our community housing tenants and clients living in the wider community, including line management of the Support team.

• You will work closely with older people, who are 55+ and have support needs including mental health and substance misuse issues. 

• Provide support as a practice educator to teach, supervise and assess social worker students on their placements during training to become a social worker across Brunelcare. 

About you

• We are seeking a highly organised, efficient and compassionate individual with good interpersonal skills

• You will have knowledge of welfare benefits to be able to provide specialist welfare advice

• You will be educated to A Level with relevant degree or significant experience of working in a social work/care or supportive setting.

• Desirably you will hold a Managing Practice Learning Qualification (Managing Social Work Placement)
