Clarion Housing Group is the country's largest housing association with 125,000 homes nationwide. We're looking for two professional Governance Officers (Development Vehicles) to provide company secretarial services to the Clarion Group and its operating companies, in particular joint ventures (JVs), special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and resident management companies. You'll support the Company Secretariat in ensuring Clarion fulfils its legal and regulatory obligations and maintains the highest standards of probity.

Reporting to the Governance Manager, you'll work with the relevant chairs and directors, and liaise with colleagues from across the business to ensure timely submission of board and committee reports, prepare and disseminate minutes and monitor action plans.

You'll assist with ensuring board members and in particular staff who are directors understand their roles and responsibilities and provide advice and support with the organisation of training.

Other responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for statutory files including minutes, board papers, certificates and various returns
  • Advising on probity matters and delivering training, where necessary
  • Demonstrate a comment to environmentally friendly practices in line with the organisation's Environmental Sustainability Strategy

We're looking for professionals who have a good understanding of development vehicles and the role of the company secretariat. With excellent attention to detail and able to use their initiative to identify issues and respond accordingly.
