We are looking for Finance Business Partners (2 posts) to join our Finance team.

The purpose of the role is to deliver high quality finance business partnering services to the business, provide financial analysis to add value and insight to aid decision making and develop strong working relationships with key operational colleagues to successfully deliver a collaborative approach to the financial forecasting, planning and reporting process.

You will develop the use of analytical software solutions that use the data warehouse to collate financial data from various systems to drive value added financial analysis and reporting dashboards to aid decision making. Working closely with operational teams you will ensure good quality financial forecasts exist to inform the 30-year financial plan.

You will develop and maintain a suite of high-quality reports to accurately report financial performance in your area of responsibility. Working closely with colleagues in finance and operations, you will effectively manage the budget and financial planning process to support strategic and operational business plan objectives, and to deliver value for money.

Driving continuous improvement of processes and maximising the use of technology used by the business you will drive automation and create efficiencies. You will identify, build and develop an extensive network of external contacts to keep abreast of best practice and benchmarking.

Acting as a role model, you will display a proactive attitude and collaborative approach to achieving objectives, encourage a culture of cross team collaboration and provide workplace mentoring for finance team members wanting to progress.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of delivering a high standard of customer service to all stakeholders providing tailored financial support and guidance as necessary, excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working proactively to develop data and performance services and improve systems.

You should also be Full/Part or working towards a qualification with a recognised accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or hold the relevant professional experience.

The base location for this role will be either Greater Manchester or Liverpool. However please note that due to Covid-19, we have adapted our working arrangements under government guidelines and Safe Systems of Work and the post holder would currently be expected to work from home.  Discussions around the current working arrangements and Safe Systems of Work specific to the role will take place during the interview process.
