We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Advice & Support Team Leader to join our front-line team.

The post holder will assist the Community Advice & Support Team Manager in shaping the service so that it is fit for the future, and delivering a first-class service to our customers.

About the Team

The Team delivers the front-line housing solutions service for homeless applicants and is responsible for the Council’s Housing Allocations Policy and waiting list. Requirements

You will need extensive understanding of housing and homelessness legislation to ensure that the service operates within the law. You will also have excellent people management skills and the ability to manage staff delivering a diverse range of services to find solutions for those who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness or those requiring help to pay their rent and council tax and therefore assisting to prevent homelessness in the future.
