At Hightown, we`re a housing charity that builds homes and supports people. In Aylesbury we provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities.

We are looking for a Live-In Support worker in Aylesbury to provide one to one support for an individual living with learning disabilities and on the autism spectrum.

Sector experience is desirable however we will give you all the training and support you need to do the role including a qualification in health and social care if you don`t already have one. You must have experience of working with individuals on the autism spectrum.

Candidates must have a clean manual driving licence and be willing to drive Motability vehicles.

When you care, some days are challenging but every day is special

Whilst you`ll work as part of a small dedicated team, you will be we lone working and supporting an individual in their own home to lead the life they want. You will not only be providing personal care and administering medication to the individual, but also supporting him to take part in a range of activities including going out for a meal, visiting the cinema, meeting up with his friends or just taking him out for a drive in his car which he really enjoys.

Hours

You`ll be living with the service user as part of a rota and will be with them 24/7.The expectancy is thatbetween January and August 2021 the successful applicant will work one full week on. Thisis from a Monday to Monday as you will be working alongside the other staff who will be working one full week on.
