Director of Corporate Finance
At The Calico Group we firmly believe that our success lies with the people who are at the heart of our business. Our innovative charities and businesses work together to create social profit, providing quality services that make a real difference to people’s lives. The Group’s specialist companies collaborate to provide housing, homelessness support and accommodation, help for people suffering from domestic abuse, drug and alcohol recovery services, support into work and training opportunities, as well as a commercial building and construction company. Each part of the Group has its own expertise and is aligned to the “One Calico” vision of helping people, regardless of their background, build a better future.
Our successful Group has already achieved a considerable amount to date, and this senior leadership role will be instrumental in helping us achieve even more over the coming years. Reporting to the Executive Director of Group Finance, the role will ensure that we have robust financial strategies and policies in place to maintain and enhance the Group’s growth, financial strength and sustainability. Working across our ambitious Group, the role will provide motivational leadership to the Corporate Finance team, and also form a strong partnership with the Operational Finance team to help deliver success for all our companies.
As our new Director, you will bring expertise in all aspects of financial accounting, exposure to raising new finance, insight into developing financial strategies and significant treasury management knowledge. You’ll be an engaging team leader who can influence and inspire change, developing strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. With a financial or treasury qualification, you’ll be an established or aspiring Director who’ll recognise the career enhancing opportunity with us to develop your professional skills in a customer-centric culture which makes a real difference to our communities.
