The Role





You will provide information and advice on the services available and receive and process requests from residents for, right to buy, acquire re-mortgaging, registering improvements, sub-letting, assignments, lease extensions, equity loan redemptions and similar matters. You will receive and process equity loan redemption requests including My Choice Homebuy, checking valuation against original loan and prepare offers to residents for approval. You will provide information and advice on the services available and perform administrative duties across the Home Ownership Service. You will also instruct solicitors when appropriate and ensure details of completions are properly notified. In line with this, you will check, verify and record details to protect the equity of CHL. You will work as a member of the Home Ownership Team and understand and improve the impact of satisfaction on the organisational objectives. Additionally, you will also be interacting with other parts of the organization, principally Customer Service Centre and Business Development, Marketing repairs + neighbourhoods.







Key requirements





You are passionate about delivering excellent customer experience every time, by being easy, reliable and empathetic in the way you deal with customers and colleagues. As part of the role, it will be vital that you have demonstrable working knowledge of home ownership. You will have an excellent level of understanding of the regulatory environment relating to the redemption of equity loans and lease terms giving rise to approvals. You will have the ability to work collaboratively within a larger section/department across service areas. Additionally, you will possess a good level of literacy, communication and numeracy skills using IT systems.





You will exhibit the ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and to respond to changing customer needs and carry out functions in a cost effective, sensitive, compliant, responsive and transparent way. You will be personable, pro-active, professional and able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional customer care and service in all activities.
