We're looking for a two professional Governance Officers (joint ventures/resident management companies) to provide company secretarial services to Clarion Group and its operating companies, in particular joint ventures (JVs), special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and resident management companies. You'll support the Company Secretariat in ensuring Clarion fulfils its legal and regulatory obligations and maintains the highest standards of probity.

Some responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for statutory files including minutes, board papers, certificates and various returns
  • Advising on probity matters and delivering training, where necessary
  • Demonstrate a commitment to environmentally friendly practices in line with the organisation's Environmental Sustainability Strategy

Reporting to the Governance Manager, you'll work with the relevant chairs and directors, and liaise with colleagues from across the business to ensure timely submission of board and committee reports, prepare and disseminate minutes and monitor action plans.

You'll assist with ensuring board members and in particular staff who are directors understand their roles and responsibilities and provide advice and support with the organisation of training.

We're looking for professionals who are familiar with the role of the company secretariat. You'll need excellent attention to detail and able to use your initiative to identify issues and respond accordingly.
