Salary

Closing date

Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership became part of Wheatley Group in late 2019 and is now on an exciting journey of transformation.

As part of this journey, DGHP, which has over 10,000 homes across the region, has a rare opportunity for a talented and experienced leader to join us as Head of Housing.

Wheatley is Scotland’s largest housing, care and property-management group but all its subsidiaries, including Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership are deeply rooted in their local communities.

You will lead your team with confidence; supporting, inspiring and motivating them to deliver exceptional customer services and outstanding performance results. You will have experience of working in a senior management role, preferably in housing or a similar background, and be able to demonstrate a genuine desire to make a difference to people’s lives. You must have a strong track record of achieving top performance results.

At DGHP, and across Wheatley, our “Think Yes” culture empowers our staff to make decisions and design personalised services for the customer at the first point of contact. It is this Think Yes approach that drives exceptional customer service and levels of customer satisfaction across Wheatley Group, resulting in national and international recognition.

You’ll also be a strategic and analytic thinker; be used to working in a pressurised and regulatory environment; and be adept at writing reports and customer-facing communications. Experience of influencing decision-makers at all levels is desirable.

This role will primarily be based from home with some regular travel when required to DGHP and Wheatley Group offices.

Successful applicants will be subject to a basic disclosure check.

Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership is committed to equality and diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
