Housing Enabling Manager
Bristol City Council is making a huge commitment to increase the supply of affordable housing in the City and is looking to fill the role of Enabling Manager within the Housing Strategy and Enabling team, of eight members.
With an active sites disposals policy for affordable self-build and community led housing; it's own housing company, supported by a dedicated housing delivery team; we also work with our housing association partners to bring forward housing, all of which make Bristol an exciting place to work right now.
If you are an experienced housing professional looking to continue your career or indeed take the next step to develop your career in Enabling, this might be the post for you. We are looking for graduate candidates with a relevant professional qualification, or a candidate who can demonstrate significant experience relevant to this type of role.
As you will be working at a local and sub-regional level to help shape policy and partnerships, to develop and increase the supply of affordable housing in the City, we are looking for people who are passionate about affordable housing delivery, who are also great at developing excellent internal or external working relationships and who can demonstrate the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
