As a Mental Health Worker, you will play an active role in delivering our support service to vulnerable people. You’ll primarily be working with vulnerable adults with learning difficulties, physical and mental health disabilities across the Hertfordshire area, to support them with maintaining their tenancy.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role, however if you have a passion or interest for working with vulnerable people then we’d still love to hear from you.

  • People skills are an absolute must, so you need to be a strong communicator both in writing and in person.

  • Good IT skills and the ability to manage a complex caseload.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Mental Health Worker to join us on a 12-month Fixed Term basis.

Do you have what it takes?

To succeed in your role as a Mental Health Worker you will:

  • Work closely with your Senior Floating Support Worker and local care providers to make sure the service delivered is seamless and consistent.

  • Maintain accurate records on your customers and complete all administrative tasks as required.

  • Need a discreet and sensitive approach with strong professional boundaries.

  • Work remotely on a daily basis so you need to comfortable visiting properties.

  • Be able to work without supervision and occasionally out of normal hours (as required)

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and will require a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
