Safer Building Information Surveyor

The safety of our customers, and therefore building safety, is our number one priority. This is an office based role working on our diverse property portfolio alongside a newly established Building Safer team helping to ensure a coherent and co-ordinated approach to building safety at a time when expectations are rightly increasing.
The Safer Building Information Surveyor role would suit a Surveying Graduate, established Building Surveyor or ex Building Control Officer with a good knowledge of construction and building pathology. The role will provide essential technical and administrative support to the team by reviewing and assessing archival building construction documents and providing detailed reports for properties in relation to current safety regulations. Your technical building surveying skills are required to extract and analyse data and produce reports to help toward establishing better safety solutions for the property portfolio with an emphasis on Fire safety.
What you'll need to succeed
BSc in Building Surveying or similar equivalent qualificationand experience.
Good technical knowledge of building construction and pathology
Good knowledge of current building safety procedures
Knowledge of Building Regulations.
Understanding of passive fire measures
Well organised and methodical and ability to maintain attention
