Job Details

Salary: £51,000 to £60,000

Hours: 36 per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We are doing something rather special at Clarion, we are committed to being leaders in building safety, and are developing our offer to residents that will lead the way. We are looking for an ambitious individual who wants to be at the cutting edge of building safety case management.

In order to achieve this challenging position we're looking to recruit a Building Safety Case Developer to manage the delivery, monitoring and maintaining of building safety cases for Clarion's higher risk and complex residential buildings.

Playing a key role in Fire Project Team on fire and building safety issues, you'll be responsible for devising and implementing a programme of safety case frameworks using claim-argument-evidence methodology across all of Clarion's higher-risk buildings.

Some other key responsibilities will include: -

  • Asset and H&S data and information collation and management
  • Liaising with our building safety managers and specialist technical advisors to ensure the buildings safety cases are developed effectively
  • Researching and introducing innovative ways of improving the effectiveness of safety cases
  • Managing projects, tasks, and programmes of works to improve the case for safety
  • Potentially managing a small team to work on the development and roll out of safety cases
  • Managing the budget to support the programme

The ideal candidate will come to us with an appropriate professional qualification (e.g. IFE, CIOB, RICS, CIH or similar equivalent) and will have experience in successfully managing complex projects and programmes of work. Having previously worked in either a housing, asset management, data analytics, compliance, construction, health and safety, building maintenance or facilities management role, you'll have demonstrable understanding of building pathology and fire safety, particularly with application in higher-risk buildings. Strong data management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and develop relationships with stakeholders, resident groups and external agencies is essential.

If this sounds like a good match to your skillset, we look forward to hearing from you.
