What you’ll be doing
If you're an all-round HR generalist and have excellent project management skills, join Optivo as a People Business Partnering Projects Lead.

You’ll take the lead on people projects and support the business partnering team, and wider people team, in delivering our newly launched People & Inclusion strategy.

You’ll work on a diverse range of projects, from the good work guide and IR35 compliance to our new ways of working initiative and policy guidance, and you’ll influence strategic change through project activity. You'll take the lead on large scale change, restructures and mergers in conjunction with People Business Partners. You'll lead on designing our approach to people process management, ensuring that Business Partners, and the wider team, have effective tools.

What you’ll need
You’ll be a true generalist, and have previously advised managers across the full range of people matters, from conduct through to performance management. You’ll have previously developed and implemented people initiatives.

You’ll have gained this working in a fast paced, customer focused, high volume environment and will have previously worked as a project lead on TUPEs, restructures and organisational change programmes.

You’ll have a solid understanding of how HR initiatives can affect the whole business, and have previously managed people projects from inception through to completion. You’ll be an excellent communicator, and have excellent attention to detail to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. You'll have a proven ability to establish personal credibility with a range of stakeholders, and able to build trust with colleagues quickly.

What’s in it for you?
You’ll enjoy a great salary and benefits package, including 27 days (rising to 30 days) plus bank holidays, and a day off for your birthday. You can also buy and sell leave up to 5 days. We’ve generous pension and life assurance schemes too, plus a cycle to work scheme and travel loans. Add in a healthcare cash plan covering dental, glasses, physiotherapy, vaccinations, 24 hour doctor and more, plus various high street discounts, (not to mention flexible working and in house career development opportunities) and we’re sure you’ll think it’s a sound package. If you’re passionate about what you do and share our ambitions, we look forward to hearing from you.

Inclusion and Diversity
At Optivo we work hard to create a diverse and inclusive culture and environment where people are respected for who they are. Encouraging inclusion is not just about protected characteristics; it’s about celebrating differences of thought, opinion and perspective of each individual. We’re all different in our own way and we want our colleagues to feel comfortable, that they belong, and are safe to be themselves at work, without fear of being judged or excluded, but valued for their contribution to our One Team approach.
