Contract Type: Secondment/Fixed Term Contract ending October 2022

We are recruiting for one Technical Programme Manager to join the Fire Project Team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of Clarion HG fire remedial projects to the appropriate technical standard for servicing and remedial works relating to our existing stock. Duties within this role revolve around Project Management, Technical Competence, Contract Management, Financial Management and Leadership, including:

  • To ensure programmes meet or exceed legislative and best practice requirements and ensure programmes are delivered to time, quality & cost.
  • Analyse building services related data.
  • Manage the programme and day to day activities of fire safety contracts such that it demonstrates active contract, programme and risk management.
  • Monitor and manage project spend and flag any areas of concern to senior budget holder.
  • Ensure that contractors, consultants and supply chain partners have effective systems in place to monitor and manage Health and Safety on site and are in line with Clarion HG's Policy and Procedures.

We are looking for someone with a recognised competence in Building Services/Construction, and a working knowledge of the building sector in relation building services / construction. You will also need to evidence the below skills and experience;-

  • Experience of managing multiple technical work-streams.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with staff, tenants, contractors and consultants.
  • Ability to develop clear and concise reports.
  • Knowledge of legislation, regulations, COP particularly in relation to building services / construction
  • Good general knowledge of Health and Safety within Property Management.
  • Working knowledge of current fire management legislation (Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005) and associated guidelines
  • Skills to a high technical standard in one of the key construction / building services disciplines. Preferably in more than one discipline.
